"Rafe Jourdin, Duke of Holbrook, has recently come to have four wards, four female wards. Contrary to his beliefs, they are just in the marriageable age. Tess, the eldest sister, was married in the first book in this series, "Much Ado About You", Annabel, the third married in "Kiss Me, Annabel", and Imogen finds her true love in this next installment.
Rafe has always been infuriated by Imogen, Lady Maitland, the always arrogant, always sharp-tongued sister had been widowed just a year earlier. Though she feels she isn't ready for marriage just yet, she would like to take a lover, and who better than Rafe's newly found illegitimate brother, Gabe? Not only did he look like Rafe, but he wasn't perpetually drunk either. What else could she want?
Everything seems to be going well, but Rafe decides that he can't allow Imogen to consort with his brother, so he'll masquerade as him until Imogen realizes that she is playing this game with Rafe. "
