Plot Summary of Red Feather Filly
"    Sam is excited when her neighboring rancher, Mrs. Allen, comes up with the Super Bowl of Horsemanship, a partner race testing the stamina of a horse. Her partner is Jake Ely, who plans on capturing a filly off the Native American lands, asks Sam to help him gentle the filly. After a long and hard chase, the filly is theirs to train and get ready for the race.
As Sam is leading the filly to Jake, the Phantom appears and kidnaps her. There is only day before the race, and Jake is frantic to get her back. Caught between her two best friends, Sam is torn. She wants to make the Phantom happy, but doesn't want to miss the race, either. "
