Plot Summary of Crazy Hot
"Crazy Hot introduces the reader to a group of ex-military men who work for the Defense Department, covertly. Their base of operations is multi-story building in Colorado, called Steele Street. The boys from Steele Street are hiding one of their members, ex-air-force pilot and American Hero, Quinn Younger, in a deserted Colorado town.

Younger's cover was blown in a previous operation and he was nearly killed. He is almost fully recuperated and hiding out until they find some answers. They know the answers lie in some intercepted loot, a pile of dinosaur bones encased in plaster.

In walks Regan Mckinney, professor of paleontology. She is searching for her missing grandfather, a world-renowned archeologist. She thinks he may be working with Younger because of a mysterious entry in his calendar. The boys of Steele Street have a connection to old man Mckinney, because in their youth they were young car thieves sent to work on one of his digs, by the juvenile authorities.

Younger sees Regan Mckinney and soon recognizes her as the blonde, fifteen year old, whose tent he stumbled into unannounced, at the tender age of sixteen. He can't forget the sight of her, all those years ago, standing nearly naked in her tent. Seeing her again, rekindles all those feelings sixteen year old Quinn had about Regan and now, he's determined to follow up on what he let pass him by as a boy.

The problem is that Regan was followed to Younger's hideout by a couple of thugs. Regan and Quinn team up to find out why Roper Jones, a hardened criminal would be interested in a stash of dinosaur bones. As they race around Colorado towns in tricked out muscle cars bearing female names, they become attracted to each other. They run from Roper Jones, while Hawkins and the boys from Steele Street try to set up a sting to neutralize the threat to Quinn Younger. "
