| Plot Summary of The Mulching of America |
"Hickem Looney is a traveling sales man for Soaps for Life; he has been working in Miami for the same company for 25 years. Every year Soaps for Life holds a sales contest where the winner receives a Cadillac, a trip to Disney World and $2000. Much to everyone's dismay, the boss, Boss, wins every year. No one has the courage or the ability to outsell him.
This year Hickem Looney is determined to win the contest, regardless of the implications. He enlists the help of a little old lady, Ida Mae, to sell his wares to the aging Miami population. He becomes a top contender for the annual sales contest. This angers Boss, who immediately begins to punish Looney for his gradually increasing sales. Along the way, Looney meets up with Gaye Nell Odell, a hooker and a karate expert, who works to stop the Boss' interference. Nothing can stop the Boss though, and he sends a variety of eccentric henchmen after Looney to try to impede his impending success.
