"Easy Rawlins needs a lot of money to pay for medical care that will save his daughter's life. He even considers robbing an armored car with his bestfriend, Mouse, but he is offered a lucrative job. A wealthy eccentric and his mysterious "Girl Friday" hire him to find Cinnamon Cargill. She is the link to the man who alledgedly stole some highly important papers which the owner wants returned.
