"Amy Fleming is a teenager crazy for horses, her family runs a barn in Virginia called Heartland. Heartland is a place where scared horses learn to trust again. Amy's boyfriend, Ty works as a lead stablehand at Heartland, he is very committed to his work. However his dad is not fond of horses and wishes Ty would "grow up" and find a better job, but Ty would never trade anything to leave Heartland.
It takes Amy's whole family by surprise when Ty's dad delivers a load full of unhealthy sick horses, they try as hard as they could to save them all, its a shock to Amy that Mr.Baldwin realizes the importance of Ty's work."
