Plot Summary of Riccardo's Secret Child
"Julia Nash became the guardian to her niece when her brother and sister-in-law were killed in an accident. She decides that her niece's biological father, Riccardo Fabbrini, has a right to know about his child, so she contacts him. Riccardo, a millionaire businessman, is furious to learn that he has a daughter who has been kept a secret from him, and he blames Julia.

Julia is a slender, mousy-haired woman who teaches school. She's nothing like the tall, beautiful blondes Riccardo usually dates. He even rudely refers to her as a "sparrow" when he first meets her. He is anxious to get to know his daughter though, so he ends up spending time in Julia's company. Before long he is surprised to find himself attracted to her. At first he decides to seduce her in revenge for keeping his daughter away from him, but before long he realizes revenge isn't his real reason for pursuing her. Julia starts to fall for Riccardo, but fights her feelings because she knows he just wants a temporary fling, and doesn't believe he could ever really care for her. The more Julia resists him, the more Riccardo realizes he wants not only his daughter, but Julia too. "
