| Plot Summary of Skin Tight |
"Mick Stranahan is a retired cop living in the Florida Keys. Retired early due to injury. He still has his contacts, and is still not quite ever able to stop his interest in law enforcement. One day a man comes to his house and tries to kill him. He manages to get away, but starts thinking about who would be after him. It comes down to an old case that was never solved. The case involved a woman who went to see a plastic surgeon, Rudy Graveline. Dr. Rudy is a crooked schemer, surgeon to the stars. He is reknown across the country for his skills. In actuality as soon as Rudy puts them under, one of his assistants takes over and Rudy never does any work, nor has much actual knowledge of plastic surgery. The girl in question went in, but died on the operating table, due to Rudy's negligence when he tried to perform the surgery himself. Rudy covers up the crime. In order to keep it covered, and his lucrative practice going, he needs to tie up some loose ends. One of them being Mick Stranahan, as the investigating officer, who could ask one too many questions. The other is a nurse who worked for him at the time. Unfortunately the people he hires to kill them aren't too sharp either and the job keeps getting bungled. And meanwhile Mick gathers more clues to be able to pin the original murder on Rudy. "
