| Plot Summary of Ballerina |

""Ballerina" is the story of two dancers. One, Stephanie Lang, who grew up dancing. Her mother, Anna is a former dancer whose one goal in life is to see her daughter achieve what she was never able to: to be a ballerina in a famous company like American Ballet Theatre.
The second, Christine Avery, whose mother is staunchly opposed to seeing her daughter enter this field of work. Christine's family is rich and does not consider dance a worthwhile profession. Christine has a medical condition called Petersen's Syndrome and is dying. Her one dream is to be a ballerina.
Together, Anna, Christine and Stephanie join forces in New York where the two girls embark on their journey to try to make it in the demanding and cut throat world of dance. "
