| Plot Summary of Prince Joe |
"U.S. Navy Seal Joe Catalanotto is enjoying a fishing vacation with his buddies when he is hustled off to Washington D.C. for a top secret mission. Upon arriving in D.C. Joe "Cat" discovers that he has been hand selected to impersonate European royalty, Prince Tedric of Ustanzia. Due to his striking resemblance to the Prince, who is the subject of a terrorist groups' assassination plot, it is Joe's job to pretend to be the Prince. Joe has a bitter taste in his mouth with regards to Prince Tedric. Years ago during a mission Prince Tedric's actions led one of his Seal buddies, Frisco, to be seriously injured. Media image consultant Veronica "Ronnie" St. John has been handed the most difficult assignment of her career. She has only been given a few days to turn a rugged Navy Seal into a sophisticated and regal Prince. Although Joe is a dead ringer for Prince Tedric, Ronnie realizes that Joe couldn't be more different. Ronnie doesn't think Joe can be convincing as Prince Tedric. For starters, Joe has a strong New Jersey accent, is full of macho swagger and can't stop running off at the mouth about the poor treatment of elderly U.S. veterans. As Ronnie and Joe begin to work together Ronnie goes about the business of teaching Joe how to walk, talk, royal protocol and the Prince's mannerisms. It doesn't take long for Ronnie to change her initial opinion of Joe as a skirt chasing ignoramus. Ronnie begins to realize that Joe is a prince of a guy, in every way that truly matters. Ironically, his actions show him to be a superior leader than Prince Tedric. Although Joe has fallen head over heels in love with Ronnie he has doubts about his own blue collar background since Ronnie is a classy girl who hangs out with royalty. As Ronnie begins to fall for Joe she can't bear the thought of loving a man who is constantly in the line of fire. "
