| Plot Summary of Wyatt Earp, Frontier Marshal |
"Wyatt Earp is one of the most famous characters of the old west. This particular edition of his life was written by Stuart Lake in 1931. It has been reprinted many times and is still in print today. Lake had many conversations with Earp so he could tell the true story. Includes the famous shoot-out at the O.K. Corral."

"Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp was born in Monmouth, Ilinois, March 19, 1848. He was most famous for the gunfight in Tombstone Arizona, October 26, 1881. The shootout between three of the Earp brothers, Virgil, then town Marshal, Wyatt, a deputy United States Marshal and Morgan, deputized by Virgil along with John H. (Doc) Holliday, and Ike and Billy Clanton, and Frank and Tom Mclaury, although lasting only twenty to thirty seconds, thrust the Earps into national promience.
This book has some facts in it but also some exaggerations."
