Plot Summary of Forget Me Not
"ISBN 0-373-22449-4
pp. 250

When Grant Richardson, a rescue ranger turned resort-owner failed to rescue Rachel Evanston who perished in the fire at Pinedale, he was overwhelmed with guilt and became emotionally and physically unavailable. He had withdrawn from his wife Susan no matter how hard she tried to reach him. He was distant, often uncaring and a workaholic, a stranger to her. Susan had crumbled, picked up the pieces and left him and now, they had been divorced for a year. Their remaining link was Michael, their 5 year old toddler.

But though their marriage had ended, the love in their hearts had not faded. Now, with Michael kidnapped, the love had a chance to rekindle. The two must learn to trust and rely on each other before time ran out on little Michael. Grant had come to realise what an insensitive bastard he had been in the past but he needed healing then. Loving Susan was the best thing in his life and he often sat staring at the life-sized portrait of his ex-wife, reminiscing their tender moments. Susan didn't know when and if she could forgive him. Now, Grant must earn her forgiveness and her love once more for he could not imagined life ahead without Susan or Michael.
