Plot Summary of Sex Begins In The Kitchen
"Doctor Kevin Leman, a professional marriage counselor, addresses the subject of the woman's sexuality. He shows that men and women are “tuned in” to sex differently, and while the man can be instantly aroused regardless of previous circumstances, the woman's response will depend on whether she felt loved or unloved during the day. In other words, if the husband has left a mess in the kitchen for the wife to clean up, he shouldn't be surprised to find her totally uninterested later that day in the bedroom, and it has nothing to do with conscious “payback.” The woman has received a clear message of not being loved and respected, her emotions are down, and she is not ready for intimacy."
