"This story ranges from the lives of four teenage girls in Swiss boarding school all the way up through their forties.
This story dives into the importance of friendship and the intense love between four girls, Judy, Maxine, Kate, and Pagan during the 1940's who all attend a Swiss boarding school together. Graduation quickly approaching and one of them finds out she is pregnant. What will she do? She turns to her friends and the four of them manage to keep the identity of the real mother impossible to find. But then the four of them were approached by a daughter whom they had put up for foster care until they could come back for her, and later told had been killed. Lili is determined to find out which one of these women is her mother, and she will stop at nothing until she reveals the whole truth."
