"Laurel Cameron finally went back to her hometown after 5 years of doing odd jobs to make ends meet. Pregnant with Buddy Jenkin's baby, and bearing the heartache of her lost love, Beau Walker, she feels lost and alone. However, her mother, Leah and step father, Bryce received her with open-arms with the exception of her younger sister, Megan whose wedding was just around the corner.
Beau had been surprised to see his one and only love back in town. She had given him her virginity and he had given his love. However, she had broken his heart when she went out with Skip and then ran off with Buddy Jenkins. He had hated her for that and had chanmneled his anger into vicious words destined to hurt her- labeling her as 'bad luck and trouble'.
He reminded himself to steer clear from her but the rebellious, bleached-blond teenager one lusted had turned into a school-teacherish, vulnerable woman one could love. Before he could stop himself, he was fast falling in love with her again. And she with him but what would he do when she finally confessed she's carrying the enemy's baby?
