Plot Summary of Outlaw of Red Mesa
"It is 1876 and Johnny Cavanaugh is tired of running. After making a name for himself, he is ready to go straight. Robbing one last bank and outmaneuvering Sheriff Wyatt Cashman, the dynamic outlaw invests his money in a small cattle ranch outside Red Mesa, New Mexico. Things quickly get complicated when Johnny discovers that Red Mesa has offered Wyatt Cashman the position of sheriff there...and he has accepted.

While avoiding Sheriff Cashman, Johnny must also fight his huge ranching neighbor, the Lazy A. Determined to have Johnny's range and water, the Lazy A will stop at nothing to force Cavanaugh off his land. When Cashman at last discovers Johnny, he presents the outlaw with an ultimatum: pay back the stolen money or be dragged away in chains.
