| Plot Summary of Dual Image |
"Ariel is an up and coming actress with a steady part in a soap opera. She is involved in a custody battle to win her nephew, so when the part in a movie comes up, she takes it for added financial security.
Ariel begins to fall in love with the reserved Booth DeWitt, the screenplay writer. As their relationship progresses, Booth finds it harder and harder to accept Ariel for who she is because of her excellent portrayal of his ex-wife for the movie. When Booth finally sees that he is in love with Ariel, trouble arises. Booth's ex-wife has hired someone to eavesdrop on Ariel, and the press learns about the custody suit. Booth doesn't know about Scott, her nephew, and is furious. Then Scott goes missing."
