Plot Summary of My Lady Notorious
"Lady Chastity Ware needs to rescue her widowed sister and baby nephew from their domineering, abusive and insane father. She pretends to be a highwayman and kidnaps a coach. Inside the coach is Cyn Malloren. Cyn, a soldier, has been recuperating from a lengthy illness and is feeling restless, so, impulsively offers to help the young "Charles" and his widowed sister escape their pursuers.

Cyn soon learns that Charles is Chastity, a young woman whose named is associated with one of the most salacious scandals of London society. Chastity was found in bed with a man, a situation engineered by her father. Chastity defied him and is now shunned by society. Cyn's family are leaders of English society. His oldest brother is a close confidant of the King and a long time enemy of Chastity's father. But with Chastity's father in pursuit, Cyn is not prepared to abandon them. A huge reward is offered for their capture. To throw the searchers off their scent, Cyn dresses as a woman. On the run together, Cyn and Chastity become lovers.
