Plot Summary of Sweet Dreams
"Megan Montgomery is a student teacher at an elementary school in Cleveland and loves it. She's only months away from graduation and teaching fulltime, when she begins having horrible nightmares about women being brutally murdered and having different parts of their bodies removed. Worst than that, the dreams are coming true- and it's not the first time this has happened to her. She tries to ignore the dreams, knowing that going to the police will jeopardize the quiet life she has fought to reclaim since the last time, but she finds herself unable to live with the guilt any longer and risks public ridicule to enlist the help of sexy Cleveland homicide detective, David Stark. From the first second she hears his voice, the sparks between them light up the papes.

David Stark is skeptical at first, but soon realizes that Megan and her dreams are his only lead to a monster that has his entire city gripped with fear. Following the clues garnered from her nightmares, he becomes intrigued by the possibility of actually preventing these murders from happening instead of the harsh reality of his job of merely picking up the pieces afterward. They come close, but somehow the killer manages to remain one step ahead of them.

The frustration and helplessness Megan and David both feel erupt into one spectacular night of reckless, all-consuming passion. The glow of the morning after, however, is shattered by another nightmare. And this latest dream may very well be Megan's last, unless David can finally solve the puzzle and learn the connection between Megan and her nightmares, before it's too late. "
