| Plot Summary of Ralph's Party |
"This is about the relationship struggles of the residents of 31 Amanac Road, all unmarried, thirty something people looking for fun, love and their own identities. Ralph is a struggling artist. His best friend and flat-mate is Smith, a self-centered, successful public relations man. Jem is their new flat-mate, who falls for Smith while Ralph falls for her. Cheri, a gorgeous man-lover, lives upstairs. Karl and Siobhan have been living together for 15 years.
The relationships start to shift when Siobhan, fat and feeling unloved, goes for another guy and Karl is unfaithful with Cheri. Karl tells his personal woes on a radio show. Smith and Jem start a relationship but Smith remains obsessed about Cheri. Jem starts to feel an inexplicable attraction to Ralph, though she remains with Smith.
The tangle of relationships get resolved the night of Ralph's party. "
