| Plot Summary of Layover |
"Claire Newbold is a woman dealing with a lot of problems and trying to fend off a mental breakdown. Her husband, Ken, cheated on her, she lost a child, and is desperate to conceive again. Her solution is to run away, jumping from one flight to another all over the country. She sneaks into hotels without paying and spends most of her time swimming in the hotel pool. It is in one of these pools that she meets Zach, a teenager more than a decade younger than she. Claire seduces him and hopes to have gotten pregnant from the encounter. She doesn't stay too long at any hotel, not giving her husband the chance to track her down. But after a while, she is tired of running, and ponders the idea of going home. "
