Plot Summary of The Cat's Fancy
"Maggie knows she loves Nicholas Goodman, a successful attorney in a huge law firm. She knows that he loves her, too - he tells her all the time. Unfortunately, Maggie happens to be Nicholas' cat. Still, Maggie goes to Old Tom and convinces him to change her into a human, so that she and Nicholas can live happily together. There are some conditions, however: Maggie can only be a human at night, she cannot tell Nicholas what she really is, and she has until All Hallow's Eve to get him to say "I love you."

Nicholas is stunned and, in spite of himself, tempted when he opens the door to his house to find a naked woman on his doorstep. Still, no matter how much he comes to like Maggie, Nicholas has one insurmountable problem: he's engaged to his biggest client's daughter, a woman who will ensure the continued success of his career. If he doesn't keep his high-paying job, he won't be able to support his sister Deena. Deena and Nicholas' friend Hoop are convinced that Maggie would be much better for him, however, and it's not too long before Nicholas starts thinking the same thing. Nicholas doesn't know about the time limit or Maggie's secret - will he tell her he loves her in time?"
