"Widow Elizabeth Burke spends most of her time running her elegant boutique and being a single mother to her two young children. She has only tiny bits of time here and there to dream up incredible, erotic fantasies that her sister, Lilah, thinks should be published. Will single attractive neighbor Thad Randolph, brought into her life through her children, add a new dimension to Elizabeth's world? Will Thad fulfill the secret fantasies Elizabeth yearns for?
Throughout the book Elizabeth is worried that Thad doesn't actually like her and that he is annoyed with her two children who always talk to him and invite him places with her. She thinks he only comes because he is a really nice guy and he can't turn down her children. Halfway through the book she meets Adam (from Sandra Browns book 'Adam's Fall') and Thad gets jealous because he thinks that Elizabeth likes him and had sex with him. Thad is determined to show her true love and that her fantasies can be reality. "
