| Plot Summary of Angels Turn Their Backs |
"15 year-old Addy Jarrick is an average teenager who's smart, likes reading and school. Her parents split up and she moves out with her mom. She starts to hear these weird voices inside her head that nobody else can hear. She goes crazy developing a crazy phobia of the outdoors. It comes to the point where she feels as if she'll die if she steps out of the apartement. She stays in this room across her apartement where there's a parrot and that's the only creature she manages to talk to. The whole novel is basically Addy battling what's inside her head."
