| Plot Summary of Loving Evangeline |
"Robert Cannon has developed his computer software company into one of the most successful in the industry, often working on highly confidential, government contracts. Cannon uncovers proof of corporate espionage. When he contacts the FBI, it is revealed they have already been investigating the sales of classified software from Cannon's corporation to foreign governments. The FBI's only trail leads to Evie Shaw.
Cannon's determination to handle his own investigation leads him Evie Shaw's small hometown in Alabama. From the picture provided by the FBI, it should not be too difficult for one of New York City's most powerful and successful bachelors to seduce this female, hick, wrestler into admitting her treasonous activities and conspirators. But is everything as it really appears? When he sees her for the first time, she is nothing that he expects. As he tries to untangle the conspiracy, he gets caught up in his own manipulations. He begins questioning the facts and his reasons for spending so much time with her. Is she a traitorous spy or just an unsuspecting victim……

"Business tycoon Robert Cannon received news that one of his employees was involved in industrial espionage. The suspect Landon Mercer, was filtering highly classified information about the software Cannon's company was producing. Landon was reported to visit a marina in Tennessee which they suspected to be where he meets with his buyer. Robert didn't like to be cheated and he personally went to Guntersville Lake, Tennessee to catch Landon. Upon arriving there he met Evangelina who operated a boat shop. She seemed to be close to Landon and Robert added her as a suspect. To further get information about Landon, Robert seduced Evangeline. He was surprised that she was innocent and deeply grieving for her deceased husband. Despite what he knew about her, Robert focused to be objective with his task. When the time came to catch Landon, Robert finally discovered that Evangeline was just caught in the middle of the events and was innocent of any crime. Evangeline however wasn't forgiving with the way Robert had used her. They parted bitterly and Evangeline was forced to sell her boat shop to pay off her credits. Robert couldn't forget about her and finally realized that he had fallen in love with her. So Robert returned back to Tennessee to look for her and try to win her back. "
