| Plot Summary of Carousel of Hearts |
"Lady Antonia is wealthy and a baroness in her own right. Judith is a poor widow who Antonia employs. Antonia's distance cousin, Adam, arrives at her estate bringing with him Simon, a young very handsome lord. Adam has always loved Antonia. But because he is illegitimate and had to work for his fortune, he never told her his feelings. When Simon gets engaged to Antonia, Adam proposes to Judith because she will no longer have employment.
As the couples get to know each other, Adam goes to visit an inventor who has a machine he may want to invest in. The machine explodes and Adam gets amnesia. Now Adam cannot remember who his is but he believes he is in love with Antonia and she seems to return his love. Simon, meanwhile, does not like the fact that Antonia is richer than him and finds that he and Judith share similar interests. Judith likes Adam but has been falling in love with Simon.
This Regency romance is a merry go round with four equally well developed characters who have to sort out their tangled relations."
