| Plot Summary of One Dark Night |

"Dr. Nicki Adenike is a successful medical doctor who desires to be submissive to a sexually dominant man. Through a website for dominants and submissives, Nicki starts an email correspondence with Richard, who seems to be everything she has only fantasized about. Richard, however, is a serial murderer who lures women through the internet. Nicki almost becomes Richard's next victim when she arranges to meet him.
Detective Thomas Cavanagh is obsessed with finding the serial killer for very personal reasons. Investigating the murder attempt on Nicki, Thomas reads the emails to Richard which describe her desires. Nicki and Thomas realize that he might be the kind of man she has been seeking. But while they explore their sexual chemistry, Richard is still out there waiting to finish what he started with Nicki."
