| Plot Summary of Thicker Than Water |
" The eighth book of the Heartland series focuses on both healing horses along with Amy and Lou healing their family. Heartland is a horse ranch dedicated to healing the emotional and physical scars of hurt and abused horses.
Amy and Ty work at healing several horses. Rosie is a shy appaloosa filly. She refuses to let anyone touch her head or put a halter on. Feather is a gray pony that sometimes rears when his young owner rides him. Jig saw is a riding school pony with a stress fracture.
In this book Amy and Lou also begin a relationship with their father who they haven't seen in twelve years."
