"This is the seventh book in the Heartland series. Heartland is a horse ranch that heals horses that have physical and emotional scars. In this book Amy and Ty must focus on treating Gallant Prince.
Gallant Prince is a well known racehorse who attracts a great deal of publicity. When a fire started in his barn he broke free from his stall. The noise alerted his stable hand who was able to save many horses. Both Ryan, the stable hand and Gallant Prince sustained serious injuries. At Heartland with Amy's determined help these two heal their wounds."

"When a famous ex-racehorse comes to Heartland, it becomes a tough time for Amy and her family. They have to deal with reporters and critisism of newspapers. However, this is the least of their problems. The horse, Gallant Prince, is afraid of everyone and everything around him, which makes it very hard to treat him. But then Amy tracks down Gallant Prince's old stablehand, and she realises that she may have a chance of helping.
During the story Amy also has to deal with her changing relationship with Ty, one of her best friends."
