Plot Summary of Neola: Solar City
"United Military Systems Lieutenant Terri Ellen Hayes works in the chaotic city of Neola. Neola is a glass and steel gem set into an ugly planet, a vestige of hope against such a tubulent universe. She was born and bred there, shipped to Mars for her training when both of her panrets died and her grandmother became too ill to care for her. Upon her return, she found work with the Interstellar Defense Corps., in a building in the government section of Neola responsible for Earth defenses. It was here that she became the target of the Black Flag Militia, by single handedly killing it's leader, Derryk Slovik.

Terrorism is rampant in 2178. The Black Flag Militia is the leading group the world's authorities have to deal with. Cold, viscious, and almost unstoppable, they seek to take over Earth from the United Military Systems at any cost. A UMS Embassy there has been taken over by rebel forces. Terri Hayes and an elite squad has been sent to investigate and stop the uprising, rescuing any UMS workers in the process. While on this mission, the transport ship is shot down over enemy territory by rebel forces. While stranded in West Russia, the bonds between the crewmembers of the rescue expedition shift and evolve to form relationships between each other. Bonds of frienship, honor, duty, and trust are forged in the fires of chaos. The world changes for the crewmembers stuck in the country, being on the brink of death forces them to rely on each other to get out of West Russia alive. The Embassy in the West Russian capital is hit by a ballistic rebel missile, the entire government section of the West Russian captial falls under the hands of the rebels as Hayes and the crew are left stranded inside.
