Plot Summary of Cat Spitting Mad
"Captain Max Harper of the Molina Point, CA, PD is being framed for the murders of two of his horseback riding friends. The folks setting him up are criminals he put away, plus a few other accomplices. There was a third person with the two murdered horseback riders, a little girl who got away and hid in the ruins of the old Pamillon estate, a crumbling Victorian-era mansion. Then, one of the conspirators kidnapped her, locked her up in a basement, and the cat investigators (Joe Grey, Dulcie, and Kit) find her, call a human to their rescue, and get the little girl away from the bad guys. The little girl's testimony exhonorates Captain Harper. "
