| Plot Summary of Gone But Not Forgotten |
"One by one women vanished. The only clue is a single black rose left on a pillow with the note "Gone, but not forgotten". It's up to Betsy to find the killer and nail him. It won't be easy. This killer is impeccible. There are no fingerprints, nothing to give any clues to who he might be. For months, women are dissappearing with no clues as to where they might be. Detectives are only finding dead ends to their searches for them until something goes wrong, and the murderer slips up. They still don't have much to go on, but at least they have something.
On victim was found mutilated in Peter Lake's house. Peter is a respected politician in the town, and is devastated by his wife and child's murder, but his story doesn't add up, and Betsy suspects him. The killing stop abruptly after that, and all of the cases are still unsolved. Years go by, but Betsy has never forgotten about the case. Betsy moved to a new town, and started a new life, when suddenly the same type of murders start up again. Only Betsy knows what she's dealing with this time and will stop at nothing to uncover the murderer she was so close to uncovering years ago. "
