Niki Ky and Daria Parker have not made peace with the events that happened in Spider's basement in Birmingham, Alabama. Daria is a famous rock star who uses liquor to drown out the memories while her lover Niki is a schizophrenic seeing things and people no one else does and getting through the day on drugs. These “imaginary” figures are becoming more real to her until her former lover Spyder finally persuades her to jump off the Bay Bridge.
Niki passes through a portal to another world where she is known as Hierophant, a sorceress with the magic to fight a dragon who wants to destroy this realm and the world Niki is now in. Daria still has a role to play as she must bring the ball bearings that Niki left behind that are now needed to help the Hierophant against an enemy that will see her dead on either orb.
