Plot Summary of The Civil War
"This book has incredible detail full of photos, facts, maps, biographical insights and tremendous depth of the civil war, beginning with the factors leading up to the nation's most difficult conflict in 1820 to the opening shots at Fort Sumter to Antietam, the bloodiest day of the war, Gettysburg, the wars turning point to wars end in 1865 and beyond.

Many books may go into greater detail on specifics of the war, individual battles, prominent military leaders, etc., but few books can match the sheer volume of information. Written without bias Mr. Jordan gives both sides to the battles and allows the reader to judge the reasons for the war for themselves. For Civil War buffs or those just getting to know the War Between the States, this is a great resource for knowledge on the subject.
