| Plot Summary of Earthchild |
"Disguised as a peasant, Llewellyn has been sent to the Highlands on a secret spying mission by his cousin King James. Half awake, half enchanted, he sees a beautiful girl bathing in the water, and he spies on her. He's something of a barbarian prince; and she is an unwanted but magical foundling. All Llewellyn knows is that he sees her, he wants her and he's not the kind of person who hears "no" very often. A fifteenth century noble Scot can get married by simply saying the word; and he can get divorced the same way, so it is not like our hero has any big morality issues to deal with. He's just not expecting that after he gets what he wants that he's going to want it even more. And the last thing she expects is for this enormous beast of a man who thrust himself into her life to go from being the bane of her existence to being the Guardian of her heart."
