| Plot Summary of The Erasers |
" Eight murders have been committed, one a day for eight days, in an unidentified Flemish town. When a ninth, a retired profesor, is murdered, Wallas, a police agent, is called in to investigate. The novel follows him around for twenty four hours as he searches for the killer or killers. The problem is that one cannot be certain that the professor is even dead. As the day progresses, it also seems possible that it is Wallas himself that is the assassin.
