| Plot Summary of Final Jeopardy |
"This story is told from the point of view of the NYC Assistant DA Alexandra Cooper. (It's the first of the Alex Cooper novels.) Alex lets Isabella Lascar, an actress who's her friend but who Alex doesn't particularly like, use Alex's home on Martha's Vineyard as a getaway. Isabella is killed by her stalker at the drive leading to Alex's island home. Jed, Alex's boyfriend/investment banker, was having an affair with Isabella at Alex's Martha's Vineyard home, so he was the main suspect at first. Jed ran for office in California a few years ago, and Isabella's stalker happened to be Jed's stalker. (The stalker was in love with Jed and killed Isabella and wanted to kill Alex to get the "competition" out of the way.)"
