| Plot Summary of A Man of Affairs |
"Commoner Seth Lindow is the adopted son of the Duke of Derwent, and his man of affairs. He is ordered to find a proper wife for the Duke's wild son, and finds two sisters who might fit the bill. Zoe is a silly flirt, and Eden is an introverted artist. While struggling with his feelings about attaching any woman to his violent stepbrother, Seth starts to fall in love with Eden. Eden is trying to make a living selling her paintings, though her family finds this very improper, and Seth assists her in both selling the paintings, and keeping it a secret. Their feelings for each other grow, but Seth feels himself unworthy of a well-born woman. But bigger problems arise when Zoe and the Duke's son form an attachment..."
