| Plot Summary of Amanda's Wedding |

"Melanie is a single girl in her twenties with a deadbeat boyfriend, and she hates her job. Her best friend, Fran, is in more or less the same position. When they get a call from their childhood friend, Amanda, a beautiful, rich, sucessful publisher, they are not anxious to see her. When Amanda announces that she plans to marry Fraser, Melanie's college crush, it only makes matters worse. It turns out that Fraser is a genuine scottish laird, complete with a castle, and social climbing Amanda can't wait to get her hands on his title. Melanie and Fran join forces with Fraser's bother, Angus to stop the wedding and convince Fraser that Amanda doesn't love him. Matters are complicated when both Fraser and Angus fall for Melanie. "
