Plot Summary of Death of a Citizen
"Matt Helm is a counter-assassin, honed to a razor's edge by his experiences in the Second World War. Those were experiences he had left behind some 15 years before - experiences that his wife and children are better off not knowing about in the first place.

All that changes, though, when an old flame of Matt's shows up at a party. She's an another wartime killer - except this girl is still on the job. And there's more. She wants Matt to help her out, and she isn't above using his new family against him to ensure his cooperation.
