Plot Summary of Sons of Liberty
"This is the first installment in the “Patriot” series.

In this book the story of the events leading up to the American Revolution are portrayed as historical fiction. You follow the main characters and how they fit into the different sides of the issues.

Daniel is reading for the Law at Harvard in Boston and his little brother (Quincy) has joined him and is going to another school to finish his education (high school). They are both from a farm in Virginia but due to the fact there are family members in Boston that they can visit with each week they are together.

Quincy gets caught up in the political movement afoot that thinks the crown is taxing the Colonies too much.

Daniel & Quincy's Uncle Markum is a staunch Tory and supporter of the crown, which leads to some interesting confrontations.

The book follows the lives of Daniel and Quincy from their home in Virginia thru the Boston Tea Party and to the set up of the “Shot Heard Round the World” in the Battle of Concord.

In this book you will also meet many of the characters that will become the major players in all 6 of the books.
1 – Daniel Reed – Who will become a staunch supporter of the Patriots, and will use his dealings with his Uncle to set him up as a spy.
2 – Quincy Reed – Will not only participate in the Boston Tea Party, but you will see how it is easy for peopole to get caught up in events.
3 – Roxanne Darrah – Who is not only one of the most patriotic women in historical fiction but she is a spy for the Patrits as well as the love interest of Daniel.
4 – Elliot Markum – Cosuin to Daniel and Quincy who develops into a strong character, and Spy for the Patriots
5 – Murddok Bucannan – Roxanne's cousin who will travel through events with Daniel and then Quincy and make sure that they are all safe.
