| Plot Summary of Bird's Eye View |
"Fritz Tullis is a likable guy, but he thinks independently from the rest of the world. He has the world by the tail, but he keeps stepping out to the edge. When events in his life finally spin out of control, however, Fritz decides to go back home (his mother owns property in So. Md) to lick his wounds.
Our besotted hero erects a make-shift shack, so he can watch the birds and take pictures, while he feels sorry for himself. One picture-taking night, he sees more than wildlife. Across the waterway, on his neighbor's land, he takes a picture of a murder.
Fritz would like to forget the images portrayed in the death picture, but his curiosity won't let him rest. He decides that it won't hurt to just find out the identity of the victim and his killer. As he pieces together the identities, he's plunged into an outcome that may be more than he can handle. In the process, he has to face himself, and the character traits that always get him into unsettling, and now, dangerous situations."
