"This book includes many case studies describing detrimental anger in a variety of people, from a man who gets so angry while working that he throws his tools in the air, to those whose anger symptoms are more emotional than physical. Each of these cases shows how what a person perceives as reasonable anger hurts others around him as well as himself. Much of the book is dedicated to helping the reader understand why anger should be controlled.
There are also many checklist-style quizzes to help the reader locate the source of angry outbursts as well as internal "toxic" anger. The Ten Steps are discussed throughout. In total, this book promises to help improve a person's emotional life, to nuture personal relationships, to learn to argue successfully (anger-free), and to boost self-esteem."
