Plot Summary of Robert the Bruce: King of Scots
"The author recounts the little known life of one of the greatest heros and rulers in Scottish history. Robert the Bruce led the Scottish in a revolt against the tyranny of the English and their brutal king, Edward the Longshanks (Edward I) in the 1300s, along with the help of the now well known William Wallace, basis for the Mel Gibson film "Braveheart". "King of Scots" brings to life a very little known part of European history."
