| Plot Summary of The House on the Beach |
"It didn't take Laura McCloud long to feel at home in Pilgrim Cove after she rented Sea View House. What could be better than having the Atlantic Ocean as her closest neighbor? After her mother's death and her own bout with breast cancer, Laura needs time to herself—time to think and figure out how to get her life and career back together. Meeting a new man is the furthest thing from her mind. What she doesn't anticipate is Matt Parker. Matt is immediately attracted to Laura, but after losing his wife to illness, he's afraid to get close to another woman or expose his two young sons to the possibility of another loss.
But Matt is soon won over by Laura's sparkling personality and the wonderful effect she has on his boys. Pilgrim Cove casts its magic on all who visit, and Laura and Matt are soon enchanted with each other. To achieve their happy ending, however, they figure out that the magic has to come from within.
