Plot Summary of Major Vices
"Judith Flynn is recruited to cater Uncle Boo Major's birthday party. The billionaire mush magnate is celebrating 75 years of sitting around and doing nothing. Enlisting the help of her cousin Renie, Judith tries to not go insane dealing with a branch of relatives they'd like to forget. When poor Boo is shot behind the closed doors of his study, Judith and Renie summon the police. Instead of the case going to Judith's homicide detective husband, it goes to his big rival. Stuck in Major Manor by an ice storm the Major family points fingers at each other while the detective bumbles his way through the investigation. With wills popping up left and right the cousins suspect the family and not trusting the police do a good job Judith enlists the help of Renie to solve the mystery of who killed Uncle Boo."
