Plot Summary of The Diamond Slipper
"Cordelia is a romantic girl who finds herself married to a horrible man who does unspeakable things to her. Her only salvation is the man she fell in love with before her wedding, her husband's deceased wife's brother, Leo. Leo knows Cordelia's husband is no good but has no evidence to stop him. As Cordelia struggles against the man determined to break her, she discovers the secret that could destroy her husband and free her from her disastrous marriage."
