| Plot Summary of In the Cut |
" After encoutering a couple engaged in a sex act, a single, 30ish Creative Writing teacher finds herself drawn to a detective who may or may not have committed murder. The two engage begin a relationship that is terrifying and titillating at the same time. As the detective "investigates" the murder, the writing teacher "investigates" him, losing herself in her own curiosity and pursuit of sexual fulfillment."
