Plot Summary of When the Legends Die
"When George Black Bull kills a man in self-defense, he and his wife flee their opressing town back to their roots in the nearby mountains. It is here that Thomas Black Bull is raised in the Native American "old ways". But things change for Thomas Black Bull, leading to years of confusion and pain that, in the end, can only be solved by acceptance."
