Plot Summary of Stop Pretending: What Happened When My Big Sister Went Crazy
"This novel tells how a 14 year old girl feels through a series of poems as her older sister is diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It shows how she works through her fear, finds family love, and the love of a cute boy as well. Readers will cry and laugh as happy and terrifying things happen to the main character. Great book to help people understand what it is like to live with someone mentally ill."
Katrina Housel, Resident Scholar
